Recommendation for User Experirnce JLA.co.uk

Hi Keven,

Please find email for Andrew below:

Hi Andrew,

Here is a recommendation in order to improve the User-Experience (plus SEO) on the website - JLA.co.uk:

As we know, the artist pages who are no longer associated with 'JLA', are being removed from the website and those URLs go directly to a 'Not Found' page (404). Here are some pages for reference:

1. https://www.jla.co.uk/artist/sophie-cornish
2. https://www.jla.co.uk/artist/jon-moulton
3. https://www.jla.co.uk/artist/rupert-gavin

We believe that removing such pages may impact the SEO score by affecting the credibility and user experience of the website. As these pages remain indexed in search for quite sometime and may also be having some backlinks in a few cases. So, if any user lands on these URLs and see a '404 - Not Found' page, there are maximum chances of bouncing back from the website.

As a fix to this problem, we recommend that instead of removing a speaker/artist page (who is no longer associated with JLA) from the website, just start displaying a message on that same page like:

"The speaker you are looking for is currently unavailable, but you can find some similar industry experts below" and there a few related speakers/artist can be shown who are available.

By implementing this practice, we would be able to improve the user experience + SEO score of the website.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thank You
