Found Noindex tags in Urls

Hi Client Name,

While performing the regular checkup of the GSC account, we found some submitted URLs were marked with 'noindex' tag. Below are those two URLs-

1) https://www.jla.co.uk/performers/simply-red
2) https://www.jla.co.uk/conference-speakers/justin-cooke

We highly recommend replacing it with 'index' tag in the source code resulting in allowing the pages to be indexed by search engines. Please find the screenshot attached for the references.

For example:
<meta name="robots" content="index, follow" />

Note: By default, all the pages are marked as 'index' and 'follow' tags that means the page at hand can be indexed and all links on that page can be followed by search engine spiders to index the pages they link to.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thank You,
Keven

Hi XYZ

While analyzing the GSC account for JLA, we found 3 pages with 'Noindex' tag in their HTML source code (please refer the attached screenshot - noindex tag error.png) which is preventing them from being indexed and displayed in the search engines. Below are those three mentioned URLs:

1) https://www.jla.co.uk/conference-speakers/jo-johnson
2) https://www.jla.co.uk/conference-speakers/suzie-imber
3) https://www.jla.co.uk/conference-speakers/panicos-demetriades

We highly recommend removing the 'noindex' tag in order to allow these pages to be indexed by search engines.

Please let us know if it was a deliberate action.
Thank You,
Keven
