Ranking Fluctuations Recent Google Update -Part 1

Hi Steven/Erik,

As you may know, Google rolled out a broad core algorithm update recently on 12th March, that has been named as "March 2019 Core Update" by
Google. We checked Azura rankings to see if it affected us and found a slight drop in the ranking of some keywords which were positioned on first page of Google.

We tried to find any specific SEO aspects that were affected by this recent update but Google hasn't disclosed if this algorithm was targeting any specific areas or industries.

Below are some tweets from Google regarding this update:

Tweet 1: "As with any update, some sites may note drops or gains. There’s nothing wrong with pages that may now perform less well. Instead, it’s that changes to our systems are benefiting pages that were previously under-rewarded...."

Tweet 2: "There’s no “fix” for pages that may perform less well other than to remain focused on building great content. Over time, it may be that your content may rise relative to other pages."

So, as specified by Google, there is nothing specific we can do at the moment other than to focus on building great content.
Although, we are researching on the possible reason and solutions to get back the previous positions on the targeted keywords. We will share our insights/recommendations with you in the next couple of days.

Please let us know if you have any questions
/suggestions.

Thank You,
Team TIS
