Recommendations to Increase Reviews on GMB Listings of Sabtech.com.sa


Hi Rakan,

As per our discussion in the last meeting, here are some suggestions from our side to increase positive reviews on Sabtech's GMB listings:

To get started, we would need a direct link that the customers can click to directly reach the 'Write a Review' section of a GMB listing. For this, firstly we would need to claim the 'profile short name' for each of the Sabtech's GMB listings, as per the steps provided here -

Here is some more information on 'Profile Short Name':

You can create a profile short name, or a custom name, for your GMB listing to make it easier for customers to find you. When you share your short name, customers can enter the short name URL in the browser’s address bar, like “g.page/[yourcustomname],” to go directly to your Business Profile. Furthermore, all businesses who have claimed their short name in Google My Business can have a shareable short URL (like, https://g.page/[yourcustomname]/review) which can be used for directing customers to leave reviews.


We noticed that in some of the Sabtech GMB listings profile short names have not been claimed yet. So, we would recommend claiming them and also use the short link for sharing with customers & request them to leave their reviews on the Google listing.
Please review and suggest if Sabtech team would like to set the profile short names as per their preference or should we set-up these at our discretion.

After claiming the 'Profile Short Name', we would have a direct link that can be shared directly by the Sabtech team with customers to encourage feedback from their end.

Here are some ways Sabtech team can ask the customers for their reviews/feedback:


1) Emails: Asking for reviews via email is very effective. Customers can be highly responsive, especially if the review request is made shortly after a client has bought our products or used our services.

Below is a sample email template that can be used by Sabtech's team to encourage clients for a review:

2) Face-to-Face Conversation: It is one of the most effective method that can be used to ask for a review while interacting with clients. Some examples below:

"I’m so glad to hear how happy you are with our business. Hey, if you wanted to leave that in a Google review, you’d help a lot more people like yourself to find us.”

OR

“I’m so happy we could help you. If you wouldn’t mind sharing a sentence or two in a Google review, that would help us a ton.”

You can then educate the customers to search for Sabtech on Google and leave a review there. Or, you can share the direct link to reviews page (as discussed above) with them on their mobile (WhatsApp / SMS) or on their email address.


3) Add the Google Review Link to the Website:

On relevant pages of the website, a button or an anchor text (linked to the GMB review form) can be added. This might be on the contact page, product pages, or purchase confirmation pages.

Mobility Issues

While analyzing the GSC account, we found some links to directory listing pages under the "Mobility Issues" reports.

Here are those URLs:

As such directory listing pages do not contain any useful/informative content so they should not be accessible to users or search engines. Ideally, these pages should return a "403 - Forbidden" HTTP status when opened. So, please ask your developer to make the necessary changes here. This way we will be able to eliminate the related issues from GSC account as well.

Vimeo Videos Optimization Suggestions - JLA.co.uk

Hi,

As we know, JLA already has a decent presence on Vimeo having a good number of videos listed there, but they can be further optimized if we add some more features/details with all the videos.

Below are the 2 key features that can be easily added:

1) Description: We checked that currently, there is no description below any of the listed videos. A brief description can be added including the details of the speaker/artist bio along with a relevant page link from the JLA website. Please see the screenshot (Vimeo Description Example.png) attached for the reference.

2) Call to Action Button: At the end of every video, a 'Call to Action' button can be added containing the relevant page link of the website.

For example - At the end of the JLA Speakers Breakfast: Marcel Khan video, we can include a call to action as "Book Marcel Khan" which when clicked would take the users to the booking/artist page of Marcel Khan (https://www.jla.co.uk/conference-speakers/marcel-khan) or "Know more about JLA Speaker Breakfasts" which takes users to the main category page of Speaker Breakfasts on JLA website (https://www.jla.co.uk/speakers-breakfasts/). Please refer to the screenshot (Call to Action Button Example.png) for a call to action example in a video on Vimeo.

Following these practices, we can make the visitors land on the relevant JLA web-pages in-case the users wish to book any particular artist/speaker after watching the video.

On the JLA competitors' websites (LondonSpeakerBureau & RaiseTheBar), we noticed that they have "Live Chat" option (please refer the attached screenshot) through which they are able to provide quick answers to users' questions.

Below are some of benefits of having a "Live Chat" option on the website:

- It helps the website's users by saving their time in obtaining the required information.

- Users can easily make queries about the fees, the category & type of speaker they are looking for.

- Users can easily inquire about any on-going or upcoming events.
Furthermore, it can also help to bring in more traffic to the website if the live chat link is shared in email signature, on social media, forums and any other online platforms where there is a need to maintain the business presence. With respect to SEO, the live chat option helps in increasing the user engagement and provide users with a better website experience, which indirectly contributes to the overall SEO value of the website.

We would recommend JLA to take post ideas from the leading competitors and put more emphasis on the social media optimization in order to increase the online visibility, followers, and engagement on the popular social platforms.
